Motivation and ego-drive
Motivation and perceptions of value are what fuels the need to achieve an objective. Something like this does not come from outside. External motivation is often just a flash in the pan. It’s lively and animated but easy to see through and its effect soon lapses if the effort behind it is not constantly maintained.
The persuasiveness and confidence we require for selling is located inside us. Responsibility for how we perceive and act ourselves cannot be delegated. But it is possible to lend a helping hand to discover and retrieve our own inner strength.
The task is to support employees in making them aware of their goals and attitudes, to scrutinise and challenge themselves and replenish their stores of energy. Because nothing is as persuasive as our own ideas and visions.
